It is my warm welcome to all students to the Mysore University School of Engineering (MUSE) which is started during the academic year 2021-22 in the Manasagangotri campus by the worldwide reputed University of Mysore (UOM). The main objective of the UOM to establish this institute is to cater the engineering education to all young minds and moulding them to attain the problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking skills and concerns to address the societal problems etc.
Swamy Vivekananda says, “Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life” and also quotes “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man”
In pursuit to the above, this institution will provide an education to our students not only for leading comfortable life with human values but also for inculcating man- making, character-making, and nation-building qualities with moral responsibilities. This will be achieved by providing them excellent academic environment, good infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories and dedicated and highly qualified human resources.
